The Carnival Festivities in Ecuador 

The Carnival Festivities in Ecuador are celebrated throughout the country, with parades, floats full of flowers, fruits and beautiful women, games, banquets, dances and entertainment in general, with a lot of food and a lot of drink, in order to face abstinence from Lent with a well-fortified body

The name Coangue means valley of malignant fever. It was so named because according to historical records, some deadly diseases such as malaria spread in this region, practically decimating the native population. Located in the Ambuquí parish, Coangue has become one of the most joyous scenes of the carnival festivities.

Studying in times of pandemic

For me, studying in times of pandemic is very difficult and easy at the same time, that is, studying through a screen or a camera is in a certain way easy.

Because people feel more confident inside their home and for us young people it is easier to study through electronic means because we handle it day by day.

It is also easy because not many teachers know the web platforms and the classes become easier or, failing that, more authoritative.

It is difficult for the last point, learning by yourself is hard, knowing if you are on the right path, having the responsibility to study for yourself leaving laziness.

It is difficult because as it was a response to the emergency, no one was prepared or concentrated, you cannot concentrate on studying when people are dying outside.

Things were very hard but I think that despite everything we were able to overcome difficulties and achieve learning with the help of our teachers and learning on our own.
